During the summer of 2012 Adam Milson was threatened with the loss of his private family track due to one noise complaint after he rode it for the very first time with his family and close friends. This complaint came from only one neighbor.
He was threatened with legal action and after the trial date had a bill for legal fees of over $16,000.00.
On November 3rd Industry leaders, friends of the Milson family and Pro riders came together to support the cause with a private ride day at Carruthers Ranch and an after party dance in Orono Ontario to help raise funds towards the Milson families unfortunate debt that built up.
Together with the local community of riders, we raised $5700.00 dollars for Milson's cause.
Together we have a voice! We need to stop being the silent majority to keep our sport alive. Respect your neighbors, local landowners, public tracks and trails and do the best to minimize your noise when riding, but most of all, fight for your right to ride!
On behalf of the Milson family we would like to thank all the volunteers, companies, and families who helped make this event possible. We could not of done it without your support!
