FIM Gala Press Conference
A head of the third edition of the FIM Gala, the many different FIM World Champions gathered for a very special and unique press conference. The press conference was opened with a speech from the FIM President Vito Ippolito, who welcomed the riders and expressed his delight at sharing this rare opportunity of having such a variety of motorcycle champions all in one place. The diverse nature of the riders present was perfectly illustrated as twelve-year old Caled Grothues - FIM 65cc Junior Motocross World Champion from Spain, Spanish FIM Trial World Champion & FIM Women's Enduro World Cup Winner Laia Sanz, FIM MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo all shared the same stage. The female sector of the sport was once again well represented by some high profile Women riders thus further reinforcing their growing status in the various disciplines.
