We caught up with Brandon Dosch while on the recent Redline BMX Road Trip RLTX Tour! Dosch is better than ever after coming off his injury that kept him off his bike for the majority of this past year. He has been pedaling harder than ever; nailing textbook tailwhip transfers, 360 variations and a list of his other signature tricks. Check out what Dosch had to say so far about the trip and what else he has going on.
MM: Earlier this year you came off an injury and now recently back on your bike. How has that been going for you?
BD: Man so good, I can’t even explain the feeling of being able to be back on my bike. I’d sit on the couch all day, have friends over taking about all the spots they have been riding… it was killing me man!
MM: So what have you been up to lately now that your back on two?
BD: Well one of my sponsors, Redline BMX documents these road trips every year. They just kicked off this year’s trip with pretty much the same group of guys from the trip in 2012. We went from Salt Lake City to Idaho Falls and then to Orange County California. 
It’s fun! We are riding a lot more street than dirt, shooting guns in the desert and now we are out in Austin Texas. There are some pretty rad parks out here. I really want to ride this spot called ‘East Side’ out here in Austin. The dude that builds these jumps does a ridiculous job I can’t even tell you how insane they are. MM: What style riding do you prefer?
BD: Right now I am just pumped to be on my bike. Six months ago I would of said dirt, but right now I’m really down with taking on anything that comes my way. Street for me has really latched on to me.
MM: Any interesting things happen so far on your road trip? High speed pursuits, road wars, bar fights, tickets, arrest… ?
BD: Well actually on the first day of the trip we set the pace I guess. We all wanted to hit this rail outside a Hospital. Instantly the cops showed up and weren’t to psyched on the idea at all.
MM: Anyone get a trespassing ticket?
BD: He just did the ID checked and made sure we all piled back in our ride and leave. Then yesterday a buddy and I found this spot near a train station and got busted again. Cop was cool though, just told us to leave.
MM: Do you listen to any music to get you pumped up?
BD: Metallica, Rise Against and Bouncing Souls
MM: Favorite road trip food.
BD: Subway for sure.
MM: Do you pull chicks when you’re on the road trip tours?
BD: Umm… yea the usual you know. Some of the guys pulls at least 1 or 2 a night from the bar or local hangout.
MM: Any plans for after this road trip?
BD: I just got the invite to X Games Brazil for BMX Dirt so I am super pumped to take that on I cant even explain. To come off a injury and get right back in the comps… nothing but motivation to go out there and bring it home for Mulisha!
MM: Have you ever been to Brazil before?
BD: No I haven’t and that’s why I am ever more pumped because after X Games I plan on riding around and filming a lot of street.
